Introducing Heritage Heroes | a linguistic and cultural preservation programme for children to help people reconnect with their mother tongue and identity through their heritage, and develop a stronger bond with their grandparents, in order to broaden their perspective and understanding of their culture, while fostering a sense of belonging and pride in their heritage
- 24 weekly sessions @ Hedgecock Community Centre, IG11 9FA
- Monday’s 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm
- Ages: 8 – 14 years
- Fun, interactive traditional activities to immerse children in learning the culture
- Provide your child with a strong foundation to learn Sylheti and help them to pass down the legacy
